CENTRAL LIBRARY
Introduction
Dr. Vithalrao Vikhe Patil Foundation's Institute of Business Management and Rural Development - Central Library was set up in 1984 . The library building is located on the ground floor of Administrative Building and is spread over the area 210 sq.mt. with the Reading Hall having seating capacity of 100 students. The Central Library is divided in various sections such as: Property Counter, Circulation Section, Digital Library, Reprography Section, Periodicals Section, Newspaper Section, Book Processing Section, Stacking Section, Spacious Reading Hall.
Library Mission
To facilitate convenient and user friendly access to current, global and relevant information by identifying, acquiring, organizing and retrieving information in various formats (print & non print) to serve the information needs of the academic fraternity of Dr. Vithalrao Vikhe Patil Foundation's Institute of Business Management and Rural Development ,Ahmednagar to meet their teaching, research, consulting, training and learning requirements.
Library provides learning aids and information on all topics, as required by users.
The strength of the library is its digital collection of six e-Resources accessible from any networked computer within the campus which provides scholarly, company and industry information.
It is also equipped with e-library resources such as DELNET: Developing Library Network, Knowledge Gainer, Management E-Journals, Computer Science E-Journals, Indian Manuscripts, National Digital Library Membership, and Sage Journals online.
